SPAM Press is delighted to reveal the author line-up for our upcoming Season 5 and 6 Pamphlets!
Quietly, in the digital aether of 2021, the SPAM team has been hard at work to produce our biggest ever pamphlet release. We were almost overwhelmed from our most recent pamphlet open call, receiving over a hundred (!) submissions. Through long late night Zoom sessions, baroque colour-coded spreadsheets, substantive discussions on what the post-pandemic post-internet will be like and nail-biting selections worthy of any TV contest show, we finally managed to select twelve new pamphlets for release between autumn and spring 2021/22. These pamphlets build upon and take SPAM's catalogue in new and unexpected directions, including new languages and forms.
A recent tasting session, held by your SPAM editors, has revealed the following notes: SONNET (!), POST-INTERNET KITCHEN-SINK, DEVOTIONAL FORMS, LYRIC MICRODOSE, 'PORTAL', FUTURE SAPPHO, NEWEST SINCERITY, WREATH, INSURGENT POLYGLOSSIA, DINNER WITH FRANK, ONEIRIC TEXT MESSAGE, POP-UP KYLIE MINOGUE, UNIVERSAL BLANKET...
