(ANNOUNCEMENT) Summer Bummer at The Doublet



Join us for a Summer Bummer SPAM reading at The Doublet in Glasgow and say goodbye to August with a group of SPAM poets and poyums!


- Non-ticketed and free entry.

- Starting at 8pm.


THE LINE UP:


Hannah McDonald is a writer and teacher from the Southside of Glasgow. Her work has appeared in publications including SPAM, Gutter Magazine, and New Writing Scotland, and she is currently working on her first novel.


Srishti Jain is a writer from India, currently living in Glasgow. She finished her Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow where she was awarded the Indian Arts Award. Her poems are published in anthologies and a blog featured on Thought Catalog. She is working on her forthcoming collection of prose poems.


Hannah George is a recent graduate of English Literature from the University of Glasgow. Her work has appeared recently in GUM, Wet Grain, and From Glasgow to Saturn. Her writing often responds to place, sound and the strangeness of the everyday.


Isaac Harris issa Black queer currently based in Glasgow. Occasionally attractive n always dysphoric dey write bout Negro Livin!!!


Francis Jones is a poet whose debut pamphlet came out with SPAM last year. They have had work published recently by MAP magazine and in Market Gallery’s “a wet and heavy noise” anthology. They also make electronic music with their friends.


Ian Macartney is a writer. He can be found at ianmacartney.scot.
