How do you like this game? Black Scholes requires Black Skulls for invasive operation. Literary publishing is dead, deaf, dead, on the defensive.

A giant book that can be torn apart as posters, reassembled, reinvented and remixed. Written straight into inDesign, in this mash up text-visual playground, IB approaches all the BS, reaching out towards the ABCs that might have been. Start ripping!

The publication comes with an accompanying sound piece, a collaboration between Iphgenia Baal and FORSYTH which you can access through the physical publication and here.

PRAISE for Black Skulls:

I just read Iphgenia Baal’s Black Skulls and now I don’t know how to read any more, and I probably never did. After reading it I googled the Book of Kells and I don’t know why. Black Skulls is about as revelatory on the contemporary hegemonic death-money-cult, its subjugation, biopower, and exploitation as anything could be. “Rather be real and hated, than fake and loved?” This could be the realest writing ever - but I feel ok saying you’ll love it. There’s a collaborative audio track with FORSYTH too, which stopped me dead in my tracks.

– Colin Herd, AQUAFABA (Spite Press, 2026)
